Dr. Kafai Veterinary Hospital

Rude, and want 200$ just to see your dog. Seems. Like all Matters is the money they did not give a d*** about the animalIt's time that government step in and stop on this ridiculous robbery that veterinarian do in this country. A simple visit shounot be 200$.

I went in for a very minor thing, my dog had been bit by a tick. Called my vet and they said it’s not big deal to use a tick removing tool and so that is what I read online as well, but I’m a softy when it comes to my dog and was afraid to do it myself. The vet at the clinic took him right away and removed it and did not even charge me. There was a very calm attitude and they explained to me what to do next and follow up with at my vet. Really put my mind at ease and I’m grateful.

Dr Kafai was very professional, compassionate, and friendly. He took my cat in at 11PM with very little notice, gave her a quick yet thorough examination, and did not push for any extra tests or procedures even though they were mentioned over the phone. He answered any and all questions I had, and even gave recommendations to ensure the same issue doesn't recur. Highly recommend.

Dr seem annoyed and unfriendly. I was there couple of times and both of them I didn’t like the vibe at all. It feels like i am asking for a favour; I felt uncomfortable.At first I thought it might be bad day or whatever but the second time it was the same communication style.Good variety of pet food but reception has 0 knowledge about their products.

Not impressed at all. My dog looked like he had an obstruction of some some sort and was gagging and then vomiting. Dr. Kafai said he needed to do an x-ray to confirm. After spending $875… X-rays were blurry and Dr. Kafai said that he couldn’t do anything because the dog wouldn’t keep still and he knew the X-rays weren’t going to be good. WELL… if you knew you weren’t going to get a clear picture with the dog moving…. Why did he waste my money taking the X-ray!!!!!!! Then he should have offered other options like sedation and do it that way. Now if he needs sedation and another X-ray, it will be an additional charge! Bloody money making clinic if you ask me!!! Rip off and will never go back there again!!!!!

Do not take your pets to this hospital. I am a dog trainer and thank god I have a lot of friends to let me know about what goes wrong at this vet.My parents brought my dog here on a long weekend emergency, thinking it’s best to go the nearest place possible. My dog had multiple puncture wounds and needed sutures. Not only the wound wasn’t sutured properly and is now infected and needs surgery again, Dr Kafai used outdated methods and medications. They use low quality medicine to cut your costs and he also is so old fashioned that didn’t prescribe proper pain medication for my dog. I had to call a friend to get NSAIDs ASAP because my dog was in a lot of pain. In old school veterinary they believe animals don’t feel pain like humans do and do not use proper pain meds and sedatives. I am very disappointed and my dog is going in to have her sutures redone today after a week of pain and antibiotics.

Amazing staff that really cater to your pet. Dr. Mir took his time to explain what I needed for my car and what exactly his doing to my pet on every step. He is patient and most of all caring. Would recommend this clinic to anyone looking to either switch or looking for a new Vet.

Dr. Kafai and his staff are great! They dealt with my dogs issue instantly, he gave us the pros and cons for the surgery. The staff are very nice and caring. They make you feel very relaxed.

this place was the worst experience of my life, went in there with my cat, nurses tried their best to help my situation because my phone died and i was not able to contact my family, in that situation the doctor refused to see my cat and let him slowly die on that table for hours because I couldn’t pay the amount of $800 to even do an exam on my cat because my phone was dead, couldn’t contact family or apple pay and in a hurry I only had $500 cash on me. The nurse had to beg the doctor to please see my cat and that i have half of the money and the rest I will pay afterwards, My mom later came with the full amount for the exam and the doctor only checked my cat out but did not want to do the emergency surgery because I didn’t pay before the surgery and the second my mom pulled her money out, he took it from her hands so hard and said give me that money and she took it back in such disgust and sadly there wasn’t any other hospitals opened. Later on the doctor finally did the surgery and made me come into the room to watch him take the blood and fluids out of my cats body to prove to me that it was an emergency and i shouldn’t have waited but Never in my life i ever had to pay beforehand, all my vets and hospital charge me after wards when they have the total amount. He was only nice to me after when my boyfriend came but was extremely rude to me and my mom, probably because we are women and we were under dressed considering we had to run out of our houses straight to a hospital . The doctor was horrible and my cat ended up dying right after when the surgery was done and i needed to bring him home because the condition the doctor had my cat in was horrible, he was covered in pee and blood in a cold cage with other loud dogs

My parents took the family frenchie here. The dog was licking its paws raw and seemed unwell. Dr kafai was able to correctly identify the problem and perscribe meds. 90% improvement within 1 day after seekng the good doctor. Highly recommend, takes his time, thorough and really cares for the animals. Thanks from zorro
